It could mean that I am fuelled by Vanilla Coke Zero® and Hungry Jack's Whoppers®.

But... it actually means that I'll photograph your wedding with both digital and film cameras.

If you couldn't already tell, I'm a sucker for colourful weddings and film produces colour that is unmatched.

So on your wedding day, you'll find me running around with three cameras. Two digi's + one point and shoot film camera to capture 36, in the moment, timeless snaps.

I'm Matt!

I've been a wedding photographer for 9 years and I couldn't be happier.

I've come to realise in my old age (late twenties) that:

I've always been a bit artsy (loved drawing and my Nana always made us paint with her)
I've always been a bit nerdy (gaming/maths/science)
I love people watching (for some reason I get such a thrill out of noticing something that others aren't seeing)

Photography has been the perfect blend of all three of these things and it must be why I can't ever get bored of it!

My fave things in life are:

- dan does footy

- whoppers and vanilla coke

- camping in dwellingup with the love of my life, Bridge <3

- getting my car bogged on WA beaches (I think this is why I'm receeding)

- finding remedies to prevent hair loss

- west coast eagles in 2018

If my face or name seems familiar, it's because I've owned and operated Rift Photography in Perth since 2014.

The name Mattrift is an ode to the wonderful journey that Rift Photography has taken me on.

I love being a part of so many people's lives for a short moment in time and basking in the love of all their family, friends and the characters of the group!
